SUMMARY:
A well-established national company is currently recruiting for a Sales Representative with at least 3 – 5 years working experience in sales and marketing of capital equipment to join their Johannesburg branch.

POSITION INFO:
The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling their products/services, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.

Requirements

Matric
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in selling of capital equipment
Experience working with targets
Drivers license with own vehicle
Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record of achieving targets
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build and maintain client relationships
Positive attitude and proactive approach
High level of professionalism and integrity

Duties will include, but not limited to:

Sales and Business Development
- Identify and target potential clients within the assigned region (JHB).
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Negotiate and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase market share and revenue.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Provide excellent customer service and address any client inquiries or concerns.
- Follow up with clients post-sale to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
Market Analysis
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and emerging markets.
Reporting and Administration
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and transactions.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports and forecasts to the Sales Manager

In return a competitive salary is on offer coupled with an incentive based commission. Own vehicle is essential.
