Sales Representative – PRETORIA

POSITION INFO:

Description:

Sell a large portfolio of products to an existing customer base.
Be responsible for taking orders when calling on customers.
Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs.
Present, promote and sell products using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
Responsible for individual sales performance, contributing to company performance.
Growth value of company product portfolio.
Ensure sales targets are met in line with company strategy and marketing plans within assigned geographical areas.
To execute, with excellence, the company strategic sales and marketing plan.
Marketing objectives to be achieved.
Participate in all internal training programs.
Participate in training and on boarding of new team members as well as self- development and organizational development.
Look for new business opportunities.

Requirements:

Excellent Communication Skills – verbal, written & presentation.
Excellent People skills.
Computer skills – Microsoft Office.
Time management & organisational skills.
Excellent Selling and Negotiating skills.
Minimum of 2 years’ sales/industry related work experience.
Good physical health / able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
Flexible approach to working hours with a willingness and ability to respond to needs outside ‘office hours’ during the early morning, evenings and weekends.
Flexible approach to travelling.
Fluent in Afrikaans & English.
