SUMMARY:
Take full Responsibility and accountability for all aspects of the Sales Leadership Development and Training program portfolio. The responsibility of the Sales Leadership Development Program Trainer is not exhaustive and may change from time-to-time as decided by Leadership.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Take full Responsibilty and accountability for aspects of the Sales Leadership Development and Training program portfolio. The responsibility of the Sales Leadership Development Program Trainer is not exhaustive and may change from time-to-time as decided by Leadership.
 
  • To identify and Implement all training needs and requirements.
  • Design, develop and implement relevant and current training programmes.
  • To design, develop and implement competency based assessments that are of a high quality and add value to the learning experience.
  • To maintain and update relevant training material.
  • To provide relevant training that equips the Senior Sales Leaders, Sales Leaders, Trainee Sales Leaders and 2IC’s.
  • Conduct interactive training according to a training plan.
  • Apply Kirkpatrick''''''''''''''''s evaluation model level to 2, 3, 4, 5.
  • Ensure assessments are conducted timeously and feedback provided to the learners as well as to Leadership.
  • To collate, compile and maintain documentation relevant to training delivery.
  • Ongoing validity checks on training material, process and activities including documentation.
  • To compile and communicate learner feedback and results to Group Head of Sales as well as to respective Senior Sales Leaders on the floor.
  • Keep abreast of changes in learning and development developments in the market.
  • To evaluate the impact of training and provide feedback to Leadership.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Identify and analyse training needs for all learners.
  • Design and develop relevant training material, training aids, lesson plans and assessments for the Sales Leadership Development Training Program.
  • Implementation the Sales Leadership Development Training Program as per the training plan.
  • Continuous reviewing and updating of training material, training aids, lesson plans and assessments of the Sales Leadership Development program as and when required.
  • Training of Sales Leaders, Trainee Sales Managers and 2IC’s on the Sales Leadership Development Program content which consist of but not limited to Great Sales Call Model, Reports, Coaching for results, Performance Management, Communication skills, Motivation & Stress Management.
  • Ensure that training material is relevant and current.
  • Establish new and innovative methods to deliver training (blended approach).
  • Conduct and facilitate Sales training for new sales consultants as and when required.
  • To evaluate the impact of training and provide feedback to Leadership.

Experience & Knowledge:

  • Relevant Training/Trainer Qualification.
  • Accredited qualification through the Training Services SETA.
  • 2 years Learning and Development or training experience.
  • Min 2 years Call Centre and/or Sales Experience.
  • Min 2 years’ experience in Leadership Development.
  • Outcomes based material design, assessment and moderation (preferable).
