POSITION INFO:

The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving business growth by targeting hotel groups, restaurants, restaurant chains, game lodges, and hospitality companies across South Africa.

Key activities:

Identify and engage new business opportunities within hotels, restaurants, chains, lodges, and other hospitality outlets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, chefs, F&B managers, procurement officers, Executive Housekeepers and hospitality executives.
Present and promote Chef Works apparel, highlighting quality, innovation, and suitability for the industry.
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets through proactive prospecting and pipeline management.
Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions for clients.
Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and negotiate contracts with clients.
Work closely with the internal team to ensure smooth order processing and client satisfaction.
Attend industry trade shows, events, and culinary expos to represent Chef Works and generate leads.
Maintain an up-to-date CRM/database of leads, opportunities, and client interactions

Qualifications and Experience:

3+ years’ experience in B2B sales, preferably within hospitality, catering supplies, or apparel/uniforms.
Previous experience selling into hotels, restaurants, or lodges is highly advantageous.
A passion for the culinary world and understanding of hospitality operations will be a strong advantage.
A releveant tertiary qualification is advantageous.

This role will suit a Sales Professional who enjoys building relationships with their customers. Someone who has a passion for the hospitality industry who is open to travelling to visit customers and close sales effectively.
