• Grade 12 / Matric (essential).
• Sales, Marketing, or Industry related qualification. (Textiles - curtaining, upholstery & wallpaper)
• 3-5 years external sales experience.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Experience in face-to-face customer engagement.
• MS Office – Excel Intermediate
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Excellent closing ability.
• Prospecting and lead generation.

Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Conduct face-to-face customer visits and presentations.
• Generate leads and convert prospects into customers.
• Achieve monthly sales and revenue targets.
• Negotiate pricing and close sales deals.
• Prepare and submit quotations and proposals.

Customer Relationship Management

• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Conduct regular customer visits.
• Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
• Follow up on sales opportunities and customer requests.

Market and Territory Management

• Plan and manage daily sales routes and customer visits.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
• Identify opportunities for growth within the assigned territory.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.

Administration and Reporting

• Submit weekly sales reports.
• Update customer details.
• Maintain records of visits, demo’s, quotations, and sales activities.
• Provide sales forecasts and market feedback.
