Our client in the textile and interior design industry is seeking to employ a Sales Consultant to join their team based in Durban.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate sales professional to nurture an existing client base while identifying and securing new business opportunities across Durban and surrounding areas.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

Matric.
Computer literacy in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience, preferably within the textile industry.
Strong sales and negotiation skills.
Customer service driven and target focused.
Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
Excellent people skills and an intuitive understanding of client needs.
Ability to deliver professional product presentations.
Sales or industry-related qualifications will be advantageous.
Own reliable vehicle.
Well-groomed and professionally presented.

Responsibilities:

Nurture and service the existing client base.
Identify and secure new business opportunities across Durban and surrounding areas.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Meet and exceed sales targets.
Conduct professional product presentations.
Understand client requirements and provide appropriate product solutions.
Negotiate effectively and drive successful sales outcomes.
Develop new business opportunities within the textile and interior design market.
Deliver exceptional customer service.
Represent the company and its product range professionally.
