Sales Development Representative

Salary: R12 000.00 – R20 000.00 (including commission)
Location: Sandton (Hybrid: One remote day per week)
Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

About the Role

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), your mission is to research and pre-qualify potential customers, generate excitement and interest, and pass high-quality leads on to our expert Sales Executives. Your efforts via phone and email outreach will directly influence the growth engine of our business.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Develop a deep understanding of the SME market, their challenges, and funding needs.
Master the company’s financial product offerings and how they meet business needs.
Research leads and update the CRM system with relevant insights.
Build rapport with prospects using research and intelligent questioning.
Engage prospects through effective outbound calls (minimum of 80 per day).
Ensure leads meet qualification criteria and pre-approve funding levels.
Maintain CRM hygiene—update data, manage pipelines, and close off leads accurately.
Collaborate with senior funding specialists to refine strategy and execution.

Qualifications & Experience

Relevant diploma or degree
Required: Experience in outbound sales (call center environment)
Advantageous: Background in SME or retail sectors
