A busy steel service centre requires a Stock Controller, who has experience working with Steel products.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualifications:

Grade 12 / equivalent

Experience and Requirements:

2 or more years working experience as a Stock Controller in a steel manufacturing environment is essential
Computer literate
Of sober habits
Reliable transport
Have contactable references and a stable work record
Live on the East Rand

Duties and responsibilities:

Receiving and despatching of stock
Allocating of steel plates
Booking in of stock
Capturing of stock
Quality control inspections
Planning
Ordering of workshop consumables
Supervising workshop on weekends
Requesting POD’s for completed jobs
Planning deliveries
