SAIPA Junior Accounting Article Clerk

An established accounting environment is seeking a motivated SAIPA Junior Article Clerk to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about accounting, eager to learn, and ready to build a solid foundation toward becoming a Professional Accountant (SA).

Minimum Requirements

Matric
BCom Accounting or BCom Financial Management (completed or currently studying)
Own transport and a valid driver’s licence – essential
Excellent communication and writing skills in Afrikaans & English – essential

Technical Skills

Pastel Accounting (full function up to trial balance) – essential
Microsoft Excel & Word – essential
CaseWare experience – advantageous
SARS E-Filing knowledge – advantageous
Experience with financial statements – advantageous
Auditing exposure – advantageous
Taxation knowledge, including calculation and submission of tax returns – advantageous

Key Responsibilities

VAT calculations and submissions
SARS submissions and related admin
Capturing and processing on Pastel
Assisting with drafting financial statements
Exposure to all aspects of the SAIPA Learnership
