POSITION INFO:

Our client is a well-established healthcare conglomerate based in Johannesburg North, operating across multiple entities with a strong focus on operational excellence and financial integrity. They’re on the lookout for a sharp, driven Financial Accountant fresh out of SAIPA articles, someone hungry to learn, ready to lead and excited to roll up their sleeves. You’ll step into a hands-on role covering the full finance function, from daily accounting to reporting and consolidations, while playing a key part in a strategic books clean-up project across portfolio companies. It’s the kind of exposure that fast-tracks your growth and builds serious commercial muscle early in your career.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full finance function up to monthly reporting
Prepare financial statements and assist with consolidations
Participate in financial “clean-up” and optimisation projects across portfolio entities
Review reconciliations, journals, and balance sheet integrity
Support audits and compliance processes.
Supervise and guide 2 junior team members
Assist with process improvements and reporting enhancements

Job Experience and Skills Required:

BCom Degree in Finance / Accounting
Completed SAIPA articles
Supervisory or management exposure during articles
Experience working on CaseWare, Xero, or DraftWorx
Strong technical accounting foundation.
High attention to detail with a proactive, hands-on mindset
Eager to learn, grow, and build a long-term finance career in a healthcare environment
