• Excellent product knowledge of premium athletic apparel & performance footwear.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• 3–5+ years of retail store management experience (experience in premium athletic apparel, performance footwear, or flagship environments is strongly preferred).
• Proven track record of leading, mentoring, and scaling retail sales teams.
• Strong interest in running, trail, hiking, or fitness culture, with the ability to quickly master technical footwear and apparel specifications.
• Strong understanding of retail financials, inventory management systems, and store operation KPIs.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and key holiday periods as required by retail operations.

• Achievement of monthly and annual sales and margin targets.
• Staff retention, engagement, and performance development metrics.
• Flagship audit scores (Visual Merchandising, Operations, and Compliance).
• Inventory accuracy and loss prevention control.
• Customer satisfaction and NPS (Net Promoter Score).

• Onboard, train, and develop a high-performing team of assistant managers and sales associates.
• Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to maximise team performance.
• Flagship Customer Experience & Community Engagement
• Maintain flagship-level service standards, ensuring every customer receives expert product advice, gait/shoe-fitting guidance, and an authentic brand experience.
• Partner with local running clubs, fitness groups, and community events to build brand advocacy and drive local foot traffic.
• Oversee the resolution of complex customer service issues with empathy and professionalism.
• Own the store’s financial performance, consistently driving sales to meet or exceed targets, KPIs (conversion rates, average order value, units per transaction), and profitability goals.
• Manage operating expenses, control labour costs through efficient staff scheduling, and minimise loss/shrinkage.
• Analyse daily/weekly sales reports, identify trends, and implement actionable strategies to capitalise on sales opportunities.
