POSITION INFO:

About the Position

Our client is looking for a Retail Business Administrator Assistant to support the Head of Retail New Business Development.

The successful candidate must have experience within the retail fuel industry, specifically with service station renovations, upgrades or new site development.

Minimum Requirements

Matric
Previous experience in the retail fuel / petroleum industry – essential
Previous exposure to service station renovations, upgrades or new site development – essential
Strong administrative and organisational skills
Good computer literacy, particularly MS Office and Excel
Excellent communication and follow-up skills
Able to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously
Strong attention to detail
Able to work independently and meet deadlines

Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to the Head of Retail New Business Development
Assist with the coordination of service station renovation and development projects
Maintain and update project documentation and records
Follow up with contractors, suppliers, consultants and other stakeholders
Assist with obtaining and tracking required documentation, approvals and licences
Monitor project progress and outstanding actions
Prepare reports, spreadsheets and presentations when required
Coordinate meetings and follow up on action items
Assist with general administration related to new retail sites and existing site upgrades

Advantageous

Experience with fuel station development processes
Exposure to licensing, municipal approvals or property/development documentation
Project administration or coordination experience

This is an office-based position in Pretoria East.
