An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Residence Manager to take full responsibility for the operational and administrative management of a student accommodation property. This role requires a highly organised and proactive individual who can effectively balance property performance, student satisfaction, and financial outcomes.
 
The successful candidate will play a key role in creating a safe, well-maintained, and engaging living environment for students, while ensuring compliance, efficient operations, and optimal occupancy levels.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day building operations
• Create and oversee maintenance work orders
• Manage property systems (MyBuildings, PIMS, Rise)
• Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with regulations
• Coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance
• Address student queries, complaints, and escalations
• Oversee student intake and vacate processes
• Maintain accurate student records
• Coordinate student events and engagement initiatives
• Compile and submit monthly management reports
• Assist with budgeting and financial tracking
• Support occupancy and revenue optimisation initiatives

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Minimum 6 years’ relevant experience
• Previous experience in student accommodation is essential
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication abilities
• Effective problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
