POSITION INFO:
Join a fast-growing and well-established technology-driven advisory business that specialises in helping large organisations streamline and automate their financial reporting and planning processes. Working with listed corporates and prominent public sector entities, this business provides sophisticated software solutions that enable finance teams to consolidate, analyse, and report on data from multiple entities and cost centres with ease.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop both your financial expertise and systems knowledge, while building strong consulting and client engagement skills within a dynamic and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and build reporting and planning applications within specialised financial reporting software.
Develop data collection templates and financial models using advanced Excel functionality.
Configure reporting structures and integrate data from multiple source systems.
Produce automated financial reports, dashboards, and analytical outputs for client use.
Manage client relationships and provide ongoing system support and optimisation recommendations.
Assist with implementation projects, documentation, and client training.
Participate in internal initiatives and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:

BCom in Finance or related financial degree
Completed or in progress CIMA qualification will be advantageous

Experience:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a financial reporting, FP&A, financial management, or financial business analyst role
Experience implementing or supporting financial reporting / planning software solutions

Skills:

Advanced Microsoft Excel (financial modelling, formulas, data validation, conditional formatting, reporting outputs)
Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes
Ability to prepare financial reports such as management accounts, financial statements, or budget packs
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
High level of professionalism and confidence when engaging with finance professionals

Advantageous:

Understanding of IFRS and group consolidation principles
Exposure to SQL or database environments
Prior consulting or software implementation experience
Completed accounting articles
