SUMMARY:
Solar Client in JHB needing a Demand Planner to be responsible for leading the demand and supply planning process within South Africa and Africa.â¯Collaborating with local teams to identify and procure critical stock items outside of normal purchasing channels. Collaborate with regional sales and management colleagues to create, analyse, and provide detailed regional demand information into the global planning process. Analyse trends, interpret data, and business key indicators to enable the business to make informed decisions.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
Proficient in statistics, forecasting, and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts
Knowledge of software related to demand planning is preferred
Experienced in Microsoft Office and advanced Excel skills
Strong verbal and written communication abilities
Task and detailed orientated
Excellent analytical skills
Deadline driven
Time management capabilities
Able to work in a highly pressurised environment
Able to achieve targets
Personal integrity and drive to succeed
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 5 years experience in a demand planning/forecasting role
Minimum of a degree in business, supply chain, and any other relevant fields
Knowledge of the Solar industry and its current events would be advantageous
