POSITION INFO:

A well-established steel manufacturing and gate fabrication company based in Kew, Johannesburg is seeking a professional and organised Receptionist / Office Administrator to join its team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming telephone calls and assist customers professionally
• Take messages and ensure all enquiries are followed up promptly
• Manage emails and general office correspondence
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and service providers
• Assist with quotations, orders and customer follow-ups
• Maintain filing systems and office records
• Schedule appointments and coordinate office activities
• Provide general administrative support to management

Minimum Requirements:

• Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative or customer service role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Professional telephone manner
• Good computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel and Word)
• Strong organisational and follow-up skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Reliable, professional and detail-oriented
