SUMMARY:
Five-star safari lodge in the Waterberg region of Limpopo is seeking a warm and professional RECEPTIONIST to join their Front Office team

POSITION INFO:
This is a guest-facing, detail-driven role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced luxury lodge environment and takes pride in delivering a seamless, personalised guest journey from arrival to departure.

Core Criteria:

Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent essential
Previous experience using Opera required
Previous experience in a Receptionist, Front Office, or Guest Relations role preferred
Experience within a luxury lodge, hotel, or guest environment advantageous
Knowledge of hotel/property management systems advantageous
Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Strong command of English, written and spoken
Excellent organisational and administrative skills with high attention to detail
Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure
Willing and able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Core Responsibilities:

Welcome guests and manage check-ins, check-outs, and enquiries
Oversee daily Front Office operations and the reception desk
Process reservations, room allocations, and guest accounts accurately
Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments on guest requirements
Handle switchboard duties, emails, and guest correspondence
Manage cash and card transactions and reconcile Front Office documentation
Conduct shift handovers and maintain accurate guest records
Uphold confidentiality, safety, and lodge service standards throughout

Live-in position
Salary negotiable, depending on experience
