SUMMARY:
Receptionist
Our client, a well-established water meter manufacturing company based in Boksburg, Gauteng is seeking a professional and presentable Temporary Receptionist to join their team. This role will suit someone with at least 1 year of experience in a Reception or Girl Friday capacity and who is comfortable taking on additional administrative duties such as managing waybills and assisting the team with ad hoc office support. This is a temporary position valid until 15 August 2025.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

• Matric / Grade 12 Certificate.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a Receptionist or Girl Friday role.
• Professional telephone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Vehicle and valid Driver’s License.
• Experience with handling waybills is advantageous.

• Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
• Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organised reception area.
• Receive and sort daily mail/deliveries/couriers.

• Provide general administrative and clerical support to staff.
• Assist with filing, scanning, photocopying, and data entry.
• Schedule appointments and manage meeting room bookings.
• Monitor and order office supplies as required.

• Generate and manage waybills for incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Coordinate with couriers and assist with dispatch documentation.
• Ensure all shipping documentation is accurately completed and filed.
• Liaise with the warehouse or dispatch team for collections and deliveries.
