SUMMARY:
Our client in Athlone, Cape Town is seeking a professional and well-presented Receptionist to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a Matric qualification, along with 3–5 years of experience in a similar role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), excellent telephone and email etiquette, and strong communication skills are essential. The successful applicant must be able to work well under pressure, demonstrate a positive attitude, and possess outstanding organizational and time management skills. Experience in a manufacturing environment will be highly advantageous.

REQUIREMENTS:

Matric (Grade 12)
3–5 years of experience in a similar role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Excellent telephone and email etiquette, with strong communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure with a positive attitude
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment

DUTIES:

Answer incoming telephone calls, take accurate messages, and relay them promptly
Handle client and supplier enquiries professionally via email and telephone
Prepare and process invoices accurately and timeously
Compile and capture monthly reports using Microsoft Excel
Order, monitor, and manage office stationery and consumables
Coordinate the ordering and stock control of raw materials
Oversee and manage the creditors’ age analysis
Reconcile supplier statements on a monthly basis
Welcome and assist visitors in a professional and courteous manner
Provide support to walk-in clients and address their needs efficiently
Maintain organized and up-to-date filing systems

HOURS:

Monday to Friday: 07:45 – 17:15
