Receiving Manager

SUMMARY:
Our client, a well-established retail store based in Springs Gauteng, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Receiving Manager to oversee and manage all incoming stock and deliveries.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the receiving of all incoming stock and deliveries
Ensure accurate checking of quantities, quality, and documentation against invoices and delivery notes
Supervise and manage receiving staff to ensure efficiency and accountability
Maintain proper stock control and ensure all goods are correctly recorded on the system
Investigate and report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety standards
Coordinate with suppliers, warehouse, and store management
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving area
 
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12 (Matric)
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a retail receiving or warehouse environment
At least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
Strong knowledge of stock control processes and systems
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Computer literacy (MS Office and stock systems)
