RE5, FAIS Administrator

POSITION INFO:

Leading Brokerage based in Randburg is looking for an experience Administrator to support the Senior Financial Advisor in client support (phone/email), policy administration (endorsements, renewals, data updates), claims processing (logging, liaison, tracking), and compliance, requiring strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills, often with specific qualifications (e.g., FAIS, RE5) for handling personal or commercial lines.

Key Responsibilities

Client Service: Act as primary contact for clients via phone/email, resolving queries, processing changes (beneficiaries, cancellations), and managing renewals.
Policy Management: Set up new policies, process endorsements/amendments, update client data, and ensure compliance with regulations.
Claims Administration: Log new claims, appoint assessors, liaise with suppliers/insurers, process payments, and manage rejection negotiations.
Data & Reporting: Maintain accurate client records, manage databases, prepare reports, and ensure data integrity.
Compliance: Adhere to industry regulations (FAIS), internal policies, and quality standards (TCF).

Organization: Strong time management, multitasking, and prioritization.
Attention to Detail: Accuracy in data entry and documentation.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and industry-specific systems.

Qualifications & Experience (Varies by role)

Education: Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent.
Certifications: RE5, FAIS credits (often required or in progress).
Experience: Background in short-term (personal/commercial) or life insurance.
