Broker Consultant - Life & Investments

POSITION INFO:

Responsible for providing comprehensive financial advice, covering both risk-related products (life insurance) and growth-related products (investments) to clients. This role involves analyzing client needs, creating tailored financial plans, and managing relationships to grow a portfolio of clients.

Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Advice: Analyze client financial information to develop, implement, and review comprehensive financial plans (investments, savings, and estate planning).

Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with clients or intermediaries (e.g., brokers) to drive business development and growth.
Product Knowledge & Sales: Maintain expert knowledge on life assurance, investment products (e.g., LISP, unit trusts)Compliance & Risk: Ensure all activities adhere to statutory, legislative, and internal compliance requirements (e.g., FAIS, TCF).
Investment Analysis: Monitor financial markets and investment performance to make, or recommend, adjustments to portfolios.
Client Support: Prepare quotes, proposals, and presentations to explain
Certification: RE5 (Regulatory Examination) is essential; CFP or CFA Level 1 is highly advantageous.
Experience in financial services, specifically within a broker consultant or investment advisory role.
Skills: Strong analytical abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).
