SUMMARY:
QUALITY MANAGER – DURBAN SOUTH

A well-established manufacturing company in the Durban South area is seeking to appoint an experienced and results-driven Quality Manager to lead its Quality Department.

Minimum Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related qualification.
15–20 years' relevant Quality Management experience.
Extensive experience within a manufacturing environment is essential.
Experience in the beverage industry and/or compression moulding will be highly advantageous.
Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), quality assurance, quality control, and continuous improvement.
Proven leadership and people management skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Reliable, honest, trustworthy, and professional.
Clear criminal record.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all quality assurance and quality control functions.
Ensure compliance with customer specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System.
Lead internal and external quality audits.
Investigate quality concerns and implement effective corrective and preventative actions.
Analyse quality performance and prepare management reports.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the business.
Mentor, train, and develop the quality team.
Work closely with production and other departments to ensure consistent product quality.
