SUMMARY:
A well established company based in the East Rand is seeking a Quality Inspector.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements

Qualification in Quality Assurance, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field will be advantageous.
Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Proficiency in using measuring and inspection equipment.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and report-writing abilities.
Knowledge of ISO quality standards will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of manufactured components and assemblies.
Verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Perform in-process and final inspections.
Record inspection results and maintain accurate quality documentation.
Identify, report, and assist in resolving non-conformances.
Use measuring instruments such as verniers, micrometres, gauges, and other inspection tools.
Support root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives.
Work closely with production and engineering teams to maintain product quality.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other applicable quality standards.
