SUMMARY:
Well established Engineering company in the West Rand is looking to employ a Quality Control Manager with a Trade Test Qualification to start as soon as possible.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Must have Matric
Must be a qualified artisan mechanical
Must have Manufacturing experience
Must have excellent ISO process and procedures experience / or done courses
Full time Quality Control on the floor & first of verification
Final product inspection prior going to stores
Control of items quarantined and manufacturing non-conformances
Computer literate in Microsoft Office and Outlook
Ensure the Production team is aware of the importance of the quality of work produced for customers
Inspect first component of each production run
Making the products within specification according to drawing against calibrated measuring equipment
Make sure operators use most current documentation and completed correctly
Doing spot checks through-out shift to verify no product deviated from required specification and drawing
Making recommendations and assist in preventative and corrective actions
Maintain, distribute & control measuring equipment to ensure they conform to international standards
As QC identify problem areas regarding quality put in place preventative measures to reduce non-conforming components to prevent unnecessary costs
Assist Divisional Engineer with primary duties if required
