A financial services group that also has business interests in Africa is looking for a Quality Assurance Reviewer based in Gauteng.

The Quality Assurance function operates with a management mandate, providing an independent, objective assurance and advisory services to assist business in enhancing the overall operational governance, quality and service standards. My client is looking for a highly professional and driven individual to assume this role reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Quality Assurance Reviews - Performing quality assurance reviews to provide independent assurance and advisory services to assist business in enhancing their overall operational governance processes, quality and service standards.
• Provide an independent assurance opinion on the design and operating effectiveness of the controls, compliance with policies and adherence to procedures by performing Quality
• Assurance reviews - Plan and execute audit assignments in line with the Quality Assurance methodology in accordance with the assurance
• Plan and relevant policies, procedures and quality standards.
• Apply the internal audit methodology and quality standards with minimum supervision.
• Develop and maintain audit procedures and update changes accordingly.
• Report on full reviews and distribute final audit report to various internal and external stakeholders.
• File all audit working papers, documents and reports in the designated files.
• Assist the QA Manager with completion of the annual QA Review Plan.
• Due Diligence Reviews

EDUCATION

• The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:
• Internal Auditing  or relevant Risk Management degree
• Exposure to a Quality Assurance and/or Internal Audit environment
• Understanding of the regulatory and business environment of the short term Insurance Industry
• IT Governance, Data Analytics and Information System Audit

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Insurance experience.
• Project and Risk assurance management Data Analytics and Information Security Ability to design, document and perform risk based audits
