POSITION INFO:

Job & Company Description:

A dynamic and expanding manufacturing organisation is seeking a hands-on Quality Assurance Manager to lead and strengthen its Quality Management and HSE framework as the business continues to scale.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for implementing and continuously improving the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and regulatory obligations.
The role includes managing non-conformances, CAPA processes, root cause analysis, customer complaints, internal and external audits, and risk management activities. You will work closely with Production, Maintenance, and Operations leadership while leading and developing a small Quality Assurance team.
This position requires a structured, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a disciplined, SOP-driven manufacturing environment and is comfortable supporting a 24/7 production operation.

Education

BSc / BEng / BTech / Diploma in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing or related field – NOT NEGOTIABLE
ISO 9001 / ISO 45001 / Six Sigma certification advantageous

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Minimum 3–5 years’ experience within a manufacturing or process-driven environment.
Proven experience as a Quality Engineer, Process Specialist, or Quality Manager.
Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems and compliance frameworks.
Experience managing audits, risk assessments, and corrective action systems.
Leadership experience managing and developing a quality team.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
High attention to detail and structured working approach.
Ability to operate in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
Fluent in English (written and verbal).
Own transport and availability for on-call support when required.

Package & Remuneration

Salary: R360 000 – R480 000 per annum CTC (dependent on experience and qualifications).
Performance-based contract.
Company laptop provided.
Optional Provident Fund, Medical Aid, and Life Cover contributions.
15 days annual leave.
