Duties and Responsibilities

• Processing supplier invoices onto SAP Concur / Sage and chasing missing invoices
• Match up delivery notes/POs to invoices
• Issuing invoices for approval from the wider business
• Code up and process invoices on Sage, then file accordingly
• Performing supplier statement reconciliations
• Dealing with supplier queries
• Allocating direct debit payments
• Dealing with supplier commissions
• Other accounting duties – Working to tight month end deadlines and may include coding sundry payments.
• General administrative tasks

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience in an SME organisation, experience within the Unified Communications sector would be advantageous
• Competent in Microsoft Office software
• Experience of SAP Concur would be advantageous
• Strong Ms Excel skills i.e. VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot table and if statements
• Good understanding of accounting principles
• Ability to deliver both independently and as part of the team
• Good IT skills - ability to pick up new systems quickly and efficiently
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• A customer focus and a strong 'can do’ attitude.
• A team player and the ability to work with people of all working styles, backgrounds, experience, etc.
• Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
• Ability to prioritise and handle multiple assignments at any given time
• Ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround
• Must be flexible and able to commit the time required to get the job done in line with business needs

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in working within a Finance department with great attention to detail. You will need to be organised and have experience of being a Purchase Ledger Clerk. Previous experience of telecommunications would be an advantage.
