Property Admin Officer
Our client an industry leading property company in South Africa is seeking a Property Admin Officer to join their team.
The Employee will be responsible for their own portfolio of buildings, administration of which will encompass the full function from lease onboarding to reconciling cash books.
Location: East London
Position: Permanent – on site
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate leasing administration, billing, and timely processing of receipts/adjustments/refunds
- Maintain tenant files.
- Termination of accounts and ensure all arrears are collected or handed over for legal collection timeously
- Proactively manage tenant collections & ensure excellent customer service is delivered
- Maintain accounts by verifying and posting account transactions.
- Identify and resolve any reconciling items to ensure creditors are paid on time as per their payment terms.
Minimum Requirements: -
- Matric
- Relevant diploma in Property Management field advantageous
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar role
- Property industry and utilities experience essential
- Minimum junior level management experience
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Experience in customer service
- SAGE/MDA experience advantageous

- Strong interpersonal skills,
- Excellent standard of literacy and effective written communication skills
- Ability to deal with a demanding workload
