POSITION INFO:

Company and Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Project Accountant to support the finance function across reporting, financial analysis, budgeting, and compliance activities. The successful candidate will work closely with key stakeholders while gaining exposure to complex reporting requirements and strategic financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyse monthly financial reports and management accounts
Assist with financial reporting and financial statement preparation
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
Prepare IFRS-compliant working papers and reporting schedules
Assist with audit requirements and compliance activities
Support financial analysis and performance reporting
Compile financial information across multiple business units
Partner with stakeholders to support reporting and decision-making

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Qualification:

Newly Qualified CA(SA) non-negotiable

Experience:

Exposure to financial reporting and financial statement preparation
Exposure to budgeting and forecasting advantageous
Experience within audit, group finance, or reporting environments advantageous

Skills:

Strong IFRS and technical accounting knowledge
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment
