POSITION INFO:

An established player in the electronics manufacturing sector is seeking a Production Support Technician to support engineering and production operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for compiling and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs), assisting with PCB and stencil quotations, supporting production troubleshooting, and ensuring product data accuracy within the manufacturing process. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an individual who thrives in a technical production environment and enjoys working on process improvement initiatives.

Education:

Matric.
National Diploma in Electronic Engineering.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

3 to 5 years' experience within a production or manufacturing environment.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Experience compiling, maintaining and verifying Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Knowledge of product coding, stock control processes and manufacturing documentation.
Exposure to PCB quotations, technical specifications and supplier engagement would be advantageous.
Ability to support production troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience with stencil inspections, tracking and administration is beneficial.
