Available position for a skilled Production Order Manager to join our team in Wadeville - Eastern Suburbs.

POSITION INFO:

Production Order Manager - Temp

Reporting to: Operations

Seniority Level: Mid-Career (5 - 10 yrs exp)

Region: Wadeville

Duties and Responsibilities:

Plan, cost, implement, and lead customer projects according to Order Management standards, procedures, and processes.
Ensure accurate Order Management operations for assigned organizations, plants, or sites.
Perform short-term and mid-term production plans, costing, estimating, and scheduling of materials, resources, tools, and equipment needed for projects.
Manage order status, planning, and forecasts for logistics, production, and deliveries.
Initiate, maintain, and improve systems to measure order operations performance and effectiveness.
Analyse order plans and critical timelines to ensure on-time delivery and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate with procurement and subcontractors to prevent delays and meet customer requirements.
Ensure on-time delivery and cost control and manage customer communication and progress updates.

Requirements:

Minimum Grade 12 or Equivalent Tertiary qualification.
National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
5-10 years relevant work experience in heavy engineering.
Exposure to CNC machines, conventional lathes, and milling machines.
Experience with Turbines, compressors, and manufacturing.
Proven track record of driving efficiency and machinery utilization.
Advanced practical and theoretical understanding in manufacturing.
