SUMMARY:
Are you that above average Foreman who has been actively involved in running a production department and converses well in Afrikaans and English?

We need your good financial ability, completed Maths in Matric. With the management of this department you will need to optimise yields ensuring scrap percentages are low and ensuring orders are completed timeously.

This position is for a solid all-rounder who is willing to work with their hands while also comprehending all aspects as to what is being done daily sticking to the deadline requirements.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

REQUIREMENTS
Matric with Maths completed, plus relevant qualifications highly advantageous
Own transport and drivers license
Thorough understanding of production operations.
First Language preferably Afrikaans and must be able to speak English
Excellent supervisory and leadership skills with ability to train staff
Strong verbal and written communication skills
High attention to detail, excellent time management and organisational skills
Proven ability to meet deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports and logs

DUTIES

Oversee the daily workflow and assignments of the production shift
Optimise yields to ensure scrap percentages are low
Ensure orders are ready timeoulsy
Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations to staff
Oversee production operations on shift
Train and manage production employees on the assigned shift
Manage employees in the range of 8 employees
Prepare work schedules to ensure efficient operations with positive results
Maintain knowledge of processes and equipment
Troubleshoots issues that arise and provide solutions
Contact maintenance department of equipment problems
Ensure that employees comply with applicable health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures
Ensure reports are completed
Performs any other related duties as assigned within the company

SALARY: R25 - R27,500 dependent on experience
