SUMMARY:

Phakisa Holdings is seeking a skilled Production Coordinator with 4-6 years of experience in an FMCG environment. Temporary position based in JHB-Western Suburbs - Randfontein
Responsible for overseeing salad dressing production ensuring quality, safety, and compliance standards are maintained.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Overseeing the blending and mixing of ingredients in the Salad Dressing Plant while ensuring safety and hygiene standards.
Ensuring precise adherence to recipes and batch control documents.
Monitoring mixing processes to guarantee consistency and quality.
Operating and maintaining mixing equipment.
Managing allergen control and ingredient quality.
Keeping detailed batch records.
Coordinating with Raw Material and Packing Coordinators.
Training and supervising mixing staff.
Conducting safety and procedural training.
Participating in audits and process improvements.
Managing staff leave and attendance.
Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

Grade 12 and Minimum NQF Level 5 relevant qualification.
3 years of experience in a similar production role.
Proficiency in English and MS Office.
Knowledge of FSSC22000 and quality control procedures.
Understanding of HACCP and food safety requirements.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
