POSITION INFO:
Join a growing technology solutions provider in Sandton to support and improve procurement operations.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, process, and maintain purchase orders in line with business requirements.
Manage supplier contracts, ensuring documentation is accurate, current, and properly stored.
Maintain accurate procurement data across relevant tools and systems.
Negotiate with suppliers on pricing, contract terms, and service agreements.
Support the Procure-to-Pay process, including creating, validating, and updating purchase orders.
Source and onboard new suppliers where required, ensuring correct procedures and documentation are followed.
Evaluate and select suppliers based on reliability, quality, cost, and business needs.
Manage and support procurement team members, including providing guidance, allocating tasks, and monitoring performance.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.

Requirements

Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain operations, and team supervision.
Experience managing suppliers and negotiating commercial terms.
Strong attention to detail with good administrative and organisational skills.
Comfortable working with procurement systems and data management tools.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Education

Relevant qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Management, or a related field preferred.

Soft Skills

Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
Professional, organised, and detail-focused approach.
Ability to build positive relationships with suppliers, team members, and internal stakeholders.

Salary

The proposed salary for the role is around R20k per month - the final offer can be marginally negotiable depending on qualifications, experience and skills.
