SUMMARY:
Our client within the metal recycling industry, requires a Procurement Administrator with at least 2 years’ relevant experience and a tertiary qualification. Good organising skills are essential as well as Civil purchasing experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

Must have a Procurement, Logistics or Supply Chain Management Certificate (NQF6), Diploma or Degree.
A minimum of two years’ experience in Procurement.
Must be computer literate (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Must have good organisational skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Take responsibility for keeping the vendors database up to date.
Handle the vendor applications process: approvals, follow ups, filling.
Assist the Department in administrative duties.
Maintain efficient filing systems.
Maintain a healthy and professional relationship with suppliers.
Operate with the highest standards of integrity.
Follow the Company's policies and procedures.
Perform duties required by your designated Manager.
Function as part of a team.
Ensure total confidentiality of all information, internal and external, pertaining to the business of the Company, all its Employees and Management.
Actively promote a positive working environment and a sense of belonging among all staff.
Become familiar with, comply with and promote all company policies, procedures and administrative processes.
Utilise work time productively to meet the company's objectives.
Promote a positive and professional company image at all times.
Perform all necessary computer functions.
