SUMMARY:
Process Controller for Press Area of the factory. Must have worked in an OPERATOR position. Press related experience is a must. Hands-on experience with Process, mechanical and hydraulic activities. Process including looking for defects, quality checks. Computer experienced required.

Salary R5200  (3 months’ probation period) – thereafter R6400 + benefits will come into play:  Medical aid:  Discovery (contribution);  pension/provident;  13^th cheque + 2 annual incentives.

We are looking for an excellent Process Controller for the Press Area of the factory.  Must have worked in an OPERATOR position.  Any press-related experience is a must.  Must have hands-on experience with Process, mechanical and hydraulic activities.  Process including looking for defects, quality checks etc.  Computer experienced required  – presses are connected to computers).   We are looking for a true “go-getter” here, who is seeking a great career

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Minimum Requirements:   Grade 12 (Maths & Science)
2. Must have worked in Operation position with press and other machinery.  4 – 5
3. Minimum 3–4 years’ experience in being Process Controller
4. Must have experience in a PRESS-AREA in a factory/manufacturing environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experienced in Press Area
• Hands-on experience with process, mechanical and hydraulic activities.
• Manufacturing industry knowledge advantageous
• Continuous improvement knowledge
• Plant knowledge and understanding
• Safety policy experience.

Job Specification:

• Process Control and monitoring checks and monitor plant conditions according to the set procedures.
• Report all relevant data concerning operation downtime operational changes and product deviation from specifications with the corrective action in appropriate logbook.
• Quality Audit Reports Discuss laboratory results with the Production Coordinator or Production Manager.
• Identify solutions for serious problems.

Communication:

• Discuss relevant information, deviations and actions taken when doing plant hand over.
• Participate in internal and external audits.

Housekeeping:

• Ensure that no spares are left lying around Health And Safety
• Take full responsibility of safety in the workplace
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards.
• Attend safety meetings
• Ensure job safety before any maintenance can take place by any contractor or artisan
• Ensure that no spares are left lying around
• Perform non-routine duties as required by upper staff level carry out the non-routine activity (e.g., assist in a productivity improvement project)
• Excellent manufacturing and process understanding.
• General functional knowledge.
