Power Tools -External Sales Rep

The External Sales Representative’s primary mission is to ensure that customers have a pleasant, professional and seamless experience with the company
from the initial sales process through to the order being placed with the dispatch facility, while increasing sales volumes and maintaining customer
relationships
RESPONSIBILITIES
ï‚· Maintaining a sound and professional relationship / image with clients
ï‚· Achievement of volumes and value of sales targets for account and cash customers
ï‚· Maintaining and increasing the client portfolio by identifying the needs of the total territory and area within his / her responsibility
ï‚· Promotion of and pricing of products offered by the company to customers
ï‚· Accurately preparing sales quotes for customers
ï‚· Ability to liaise and communicate clearly with clients at all levels
ï‚· Pricing of tenders with assistance from technical staff, where required
ï‚· Collects and collates market intelligence as a contributing factor to strategic information and provides information to the market
ï‚· Liaise with Sales Manager and internal sales with regards to competitor / market information according to customer requirements
ï‚· Addressing and resolving customer queries and problems timeously
ï‚· Sales administration: daily follow up on quotes both sales staff and customers / general marketplace
ï‚· Sales Budget: forecasting and controlling
QUALIFICATION BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE
ï‚· Minimum Grade 12 (Matric) qualification
ï‚· Minimum five years’ external sales representative experience for power tools, fastenings etc
ï‚· 5 years’ experience dealing with end users
SALARY:
R18 000 -R20 000 basic Plus company car or R6000 car allowance, Medical Aid and Pension

Thus R27 000 - R30 000CTC plus commission
