Roodepoort - Gauteng
R15 000 - R18 000 CTC (Includes pension)

Our client in the Agricultural sector is looking for a driven Portfolio Officer to join their team

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

Manage an assigned customer portfolio and maintain a strong professional relationship
Communicate with customers daily regarding products, pricing, stock and general enquiries
Process customer orders, quotations, credits and related transactions accurately
Liaise with Operations, Finance, suppliers and internal departments to manage orders efficiently
Communicate with suppliers regarding availability, pricing, orders and purchasing requirements
Assist with purchasing by sourcing pricing and product availability
Monitor orders through to delivery and resolve any queries or discrepancies
Identify sales opportunities to promote products and grow the customer portfolio
Follow up on quotations, potential sales and customer requirements
Maintain strong product knowledge and provide suitable product recommendations
Support individual and branch sales targets, promotions and sales initiatives
Keep customer information accurate and update all relevant activities on the system
Work effectively within a team while independently managing your portfolio and responsibilities

Minimum experience:

Work effectively within a team while independently managing your portfolio and responsibilities2 years’ experience in internal sales, customer service, sales administration or order processing
Experience in a customer-focused commercial role
Experience in wholesale, distribution, FMCG, veterinary, animal health or similar industries will be an advantage
