JOB DESCRIPTION:

An exciting opportunity awaits a successful candidate who wants a stable environment as a Portfolio Administrator in the Financial Services industry. If stability and long term is what you are looking for then this is the ideal opportunity.

Responsibilities:

The Portfolio Administrator provides administrative support to the team in ensuring accurate and timely processing of all related requests
Daily updating of various spreadsheets, which includes the following:
- Monitoring of negative balances
- Monitoring of scrip/cash movement
- Closure of accounts
- Send updated spreadsheets to - saved in the worksheet file
Daily monitoring of standing instruction payments which includes payments to be made to clients
Opening of all local and offshore accounts
Handle all requests for client tax packs, both domestic & offshore
Assist trading on both local and offshore portfolios
Liquidating a portfolio and doing bulk trades when models are amended
Fundamental and technical understanding of the markets
Provide a performance attribution report on our portfolios to the investment committee team from previous quarter
Note taking for the investment committee

Requirements:

BComm degree (honours preferred)
Studying towards CFA
0-3 years' experience in investment administration
Experience in dealing with share portfolios and multiple investment products and providers
Experience in local and offshore investments
