SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a Planning Assistant to join their team and build a long-term career within the planning and supply chain environment. This is a great opportunity for an experienced administrator who is highly organised, confident with Excel and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Planning Team
Assist with planning, stock, order, and supply chain-related activities
Capture and maintain accurate information on internal systems
Assist with invoicing, order processing, and monitoring order status
Coordinate with warehouse, shipping, sales, and other internal departments to ensure smooth processing of orders
Assist with stock allocations, order releases, changes, and customer updates
Respond to internal and external queries via phone and email, escalating where appropriate
Assist with logistics and shipping administration and required documentation
Prepare and maintain reports, stock sheets, catalogues, and other administrative information
Support the team with general planning and administrative tasks as required
Develop an understanding of the broader Planning and Supply Chain function through structured training
Take ownership of assigned tasks and ensure work is completed accurately and within required deadlines

Minimum Requirements:

2–4 years’ experience in an administrative or coordination role
Strong Excel and MS Office skills are essential
Previous experience in invoicing, shipping, warehouse administration, logistics, internal sales, or a similar high-volume environment will be highly advantageous
Experience working with high-volume and/or high-value transactions or information
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Able to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Confident working with internal and external stakeholders
Quick to learn new systems, processes, and technology
Looking for a stable, long-term career opportunity within Planning and Supply Chain
Relevant qualification will be advantageous but is not essential
