POSITION INFO:
We are seeking an experienced and professional Pest Control Officer (PCO) to join a reputable company in George. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality pest control services, maintaining compliance with industry standards, and ensuring exceptional customer service at all client sites.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Valid Pest Control Operator (PCO) Certificate
- Valid Driver’s License
- Minimum of 2+ years' pest control experience
- Experience working within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and industry compliance requirements
- Experience in food manufacturing, HACCP-controlled environments, or integrated pest management (IPM) environments will be advantageous
Responsibilities
- Deliver quality pest control services in line with company standards and client requirements
- Complete all scheduled service visits, reports, and service documentation accurately and on time
- Maintain accurate records on the Pest Management System and update IPM files after each service
- Identify, document, and report pest activity, proofing requirements, housekeeping issues, and damaged or missing pest control equipment
- Obtain client sign-off following the completion of services
- Supervise, mentor, and support Pest Control Assistants and Interns in accordance with SOPs and industry standards
- Promote and maintain safe working practices and compliance with health and safety requirements
- Ensure company vehicles, tools, and equipment are properly maintained and cared for
- Report equipment defects, maintenance requirements, and vehicle repairs promptly
- Build and maintain professional client relationships while delivering exceptional customer service
- Perform any other reasonable duties related to the position as required
