Personal Assistant to MD

SUMMARY:
Opportunity for a mature, organized, proactive and professional Personal Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative and personal support to the Managing Director (MD). The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing the MD’s schedule, facilitating communication, and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the MD’s calendar, including appointments, meetings, travel, and events.
• Manage all correspondence on behalf of the MD, including emails, letters, and phone calls.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing materials as required by the MD.
• Organize and attend meetings, taking minutes and following up on action items.
• Act as a liaison between the MD and internal/external stakeholders.
• Manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
• Coordinate travel arrangements, itineraries, and accommodation.
• Support personal tasks and errands as requested by the MD.
• Ensure the MD is well-prepared for all engagements.
• Perform general administrative duties such as filing, record keeping, and office supply management. 

• Proven experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant to the MD/CEO within a large corporate company
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in ENGLISH AND AFRIKAANS
• Experienced in compiling board packs
• Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks under pressure.
• Professional discretion and confidentiality.
• High attention to detail.
• Qualification in Business Administration, Office Management, or related field advantageous
