Support the employee lifecycle while working with a global People Team in a role focused on delivering a high-quality employee experience.

Location: Cape Town (Office-based 3 days per week) | Working Arrangement: Hybrid | Working Hours: UK 9:00 am – 5:00 pm | Salary: Negotiable (Maximum R25,000)

THE ROLE: PEOPLE SERVICES HR ADMINISTRATOR

The purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive administrative support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring HR processes run smoothly, employee records are accurately maintained, systems are effectively utilised, and policies are consistently followed.

Working within a newly formed People Services Hub, you will support employees and the wider global People Team by coordinating HR administration, maintaining HR systems, supporting payroll processes, and assisting with employee lifecycle activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as the first point of contact for employee HR queries.
• Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS and personnel files in compliance with data protection regulations.
• Ensure people systems and records are accurate and compliant.
• Coordinate the end-to-end completion of employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Prepare employee lifecycle documentation, including contracts, employment changes, leave schedules, and related documentation.
• Support employee lifecycle events, including onboarding, offboarding, job changes, performance, and leave processes.
• Coordinate the administration of cyclical people activities, including performance and pay reviews, learning and development sessions, and employee surveys.
• Collaborate with payroll by providing accurate and timely payroll input and data.
• Provide accurate and timely people data to payroll.
• Generate routine and ad-hoc people metrics as required.
• Monitor completion of mandatory training and compliance-related tasks.
• Help coordinate training and employee programmes.
• Assist with audits.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and employment legislation.

• Language capability in German or French is essential. Dutch or other European languages are also advantageous.
• Familiarity with people policies and procedures.
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms (Success Factors experience is used within the business).
