SUMMARY:

PAYROLL SPECIALIST

Cape Town | Permanent | R450 000 CTC per annum

A leading and established organisation within the healthcare services sector is looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their Cape Town team.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional looking to broaden their exposure to global payroll, while strengthening their experience within a professional and established organisation.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Process monthly payroll accurately and within required deadlines.
Support the International Payroll Manager with timely and accurate payroll submissions and reporting.
Ensure compliance with South African payroll legislation, including PAYE, UIF and SDL.
Prepare and submit statutory returns, including EMP201 and EMP501.
Perform payroll reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records and employee information.
Assist with payroll reporting and provide relevant payroll information to internal stakeholders.
Ensure payroll data is accurately captured and processed using relevant payroll systems.
Support global payroll activities where required.

Job Experience and Skills Required

Minimum Requirements:

Relevant tertiary qualification in Payroll, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources or a related field would be advantageous.
Minimum 5 years' payroll experience.
Proven experience in payroll processing and payroll software.
Strong knowledge of South African payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
