Payroll Officer - Dube Tradeport

SUMMARY:

DBN000128– Payroll Officer – Dube Tradeport  
 
Purpose of the job:
To ensure that employees are paid accurately and on time.
 
Required Qualifications

1. Human Resources or Payroll Qualification
2. Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with VIP Payroll Software
3. Minimum of 1 years’ experience working with  Sage People 300 software experience
4. Must have Excellent knowledge of payroll administration legal requirements and tax regulations.
5. Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated expertise managing payroll, preferably in a big, hectic business setting.

POSITION INFO:
Technical Competencies and responsibilities

1. Accurately & promptly process monthly salary & wages fortnightly
2. Before the Payroll Manager gives final approval, review & confirm every payroll output
3. Handle any payments from external parties, such as union dues and legal garnishees.
4. All incentive payments and pay raises should be prepared and processed.
5. Compile and electronically distribute employee payslips
6. Oversee the administration of full leave, making sure that all tracking and processing are accurate.
