The successful candidate will be responsible for the full payroll function, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with all relevant legislation. POSITION INFO:

Job Description:
This position involves:

Processing monthly payroll for 1,500+ employees across multiple sites
Calculating salaries, overtime, bonuses, shifts, leave pay, UIF, PAYE, SDL, and other statutory deductions
Ensuring payroll is processed accurately and within strict deadlines
Preparing payroll reports and month-end payroll reconciliations
Maintaining employee payroll records and payroll documentation
Handling payroll-related queries and liaising closely with HR and finance
Ensuring compliance with BCEA, SARS regulations, labour legislation, and company policies
Processing employee appointments, terminations, transfers, promotions, and salary adjustments

Skills & Experience:

4-5 years' experience in a payroll-focused role
Strong understanding of BCEA, PAYE, UIF, SDL, and payroll legislation
Payroll experience within a large employee environment
Experience on VIP, Sage 300 People, or Payspace
Fluent in Afrikaans and English
Deadline-driven and highly organised

Qualification:

B.Com Accounting (or similar) – non-negotiable
