Are you detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy and efficiency in payroll processing?

POSITION INFO:
Our client is seeking a proactive and organised Payroll Clerk to join their dynamic team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing for weekly and monthly payroll cycles.

This role is based in Springs, Johannesburg East.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect, calculate, and accurately capture payroll data.
Update and maintain employee records on the payroll system in line with approved changes.
Ensure payroll processes and controls are consistently followed.
Print and distribute weekly/monthly payslips.
Handle first-line payroll queries efficiently and resolve cases within agreed timelines.
Maintain organised payroll filing systems.
Capture and audit leave records.
Participate in projects or initiatives within the Shared Services Centre.
Provide support to internal customers and ensure service excellence.
Ensure all activities comply with company policies and delegated authority frameworks.
Perform ad hoc duties as required.

Requirements:

Matric.
Payroll Diploma or Certificate.
Proven experience in payroll administration.
Knowledge of payroll systems and relevant legislation.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
