POSITION INFO:
A wellâestablished organization within the agricultural sector, based in Pretoria East, is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join their team on a fixedâterm contract. This role requires handsâon payroll experience, strong legislative knowledge, and the ability to manage the full payroll function accurately and efficiently. Exposure to the agricultural industry would be advantageous, though candidates from other sectors are welcome.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance while acting as a key point of contact for employee payroll matters.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full payroll function, including monthly salary processing.
Process EMP201 and interim tax submissions, ensuring legislative compliance.
Handle claims processing and payrollârelated adjustments.
Perform payroll reconciliations and prepare journal entries for capture.
Respond to staff payroll queries professionally and efficiently.
Ensure accurate payroll reporting and timely submissions.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Grade 12 / Certificate / Diploma – qualification open.
Minimum 2+ years’ payroll experience in a Payroll Administrator role or similar.
Exposure to the agricultural sector would be advantageous (open to other industries).
Solid understanding of South African payroll legislation.
SAGE VIP experience is essential (nonânegotiable).
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
