Can you run payroll smoother than a harvest season? If payslips, recons and deadlines don’t scare you and Sage VIP is basically your second language, this Payroll Administrator (6-month contract) role is ready to put your skills to work immediately.

POSITION INFO:
Our client is a well-established agriculture company based in Pretoria East, operating in a fast-paced, seasonal environment where accuracy and timing are everything.

They’re looking for a Payroll Administrator to step in on a 6-month contract and take full ownership of the payroll function, from capturing to reporting, journals and reconciliations. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be trusted to keep payroll running accurately and on time, every time.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full payroll function from input to final reporting
Capture and process payroll data accurately on Sage VIP
Prepare payroll reports, journals and reconciliations
Ensure compliance with statutory and company payroll requirements
Handle payroll queries and ensure timely resolution
Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Matric (Grade 12)
3 to 5 years’ payroll experience
Sage VIP experience essential
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Must be available immediately or on short notice
